Qu Rahn replied to T-90S Bheeshma June 4, 2023 @ 7:07:35 pm PDTIndia is no longer a british colony, they are commonwealth only in name, so the t90 has nothing to do with the UK.
inb4 "but X nation got Y, which also didn't have anything to do with X", the community also complained about the kurassier, sherman clones, p47 clones, etc.

FizzyElf replied to T-90S Bheeshma June 4, 2023 @ 8:09:22 pm PDTWhenever gaijin adds their subtree I would assume.(defence, trade, ease of migration, joint research programs eg) for quite some time. India gained independence 76 years ago stuff changesSo iranian tomcat for Russia when? Where did you get that from the uk and india have been increasing in cooperation
South Africa isn't part of the commonwealth either, hell they didn't even have an armored industry during ww2 if I remember correctly and it's not like Ukraine or it's neighbors are part of the soviet union anymore yet their stuff is slotted for russia, india wasn't part of the SU and its ties are far closer with britain than Russia or China, times have changed since the Bri-ish band broke up and it makes more sense to lean towards a british subtree than a russian one as the T-90 isn't the only MBT they have to offer and I would prefer we don't have another Canada with vehicles in multiple tree's. Besides that, Britain needs the help and india can provide them that aid, Russia will be getting ~3 more tech tree T-72/90 variants and they might get another T-80 variant which will be nice, they don't need India's model too, plus the 90S would have ended up as a squadron tank, russia already has a squadron tank, so unless gaijin wants to start adding more top tier squadron vehicles for the big 3 I don't see russia getting their hands on it unless Gaijin turns it into an event vehicle. India is no longer a british colony, they are commonwealth only in name, so the t90 has nothing to do with the UK.
