i was just moving a small amount of units(5-10 ish) with the magnet and randomly the world is super laggy and unplayable, i am using a mod "CollectionMod", but didnt use the mod at that time

yeah, mods break the game apparently
its best to remove all mod files if you want the game to run smoothly again

Had a similar issue related to mods. Hadn't installed any new ones in a while when it started lagging but I figured it must have been that. Uninstalled the mods and performance was back to normal.
