The game is stuck on loading at 50% for many android players since the maintenance break.
I am on game version 1.1.1 and my friend is on 1.1.0 still the game doesn't open at all.
When I loaded the game, it quickly loaded to 50 and then refused to move, I waited for 30mins and still nothing happened later on, I tried doing the things that the internet tells me to do but it still does not work

Go to the settings click application and then click application manager and then find you app and click clear data
This will sound too easy, but it worked for me:
I had been logging in through our guest wifi account (we have a home account and a guest account). Once I logged out and logged in with the home account, it worked!!
If you only have one account, try simply logging out and re-logging in. Not wifi off and on, but actually re-establishing the connection. Worth a shot!

I have the Samsung Galaxy grand prime and it does that 50% then kicks me out I have no clue how to fix it
That is an coding issue/violation. They are forcing you to use your carriers mobile data where wifi also works but there is something embedded to force your devices wifi off. Personally I don't think that is legal. It doesn't matter if you clear the cache, force stop the app they are forcing certain features of your device off remotely.
The hotspot shield works, but the ads are pretty annoying.
Had to change my mobilephone (now android) and wanted to install the app yesterday. I've got the same problem like all the others. The app loads untill 50% then it stucks.. I'm a bid sad 'cause it's such a cool game :( die anyone find a solution meanwhile? I would be really thankful.
I had the same problem but the hotspot shield app actually worked for me I promise on anything that this app isn't a virus.

Resolved, setting/application management/data used/clear data - then force stop. Then u need turn off WiFi, use your phone carrier network reload the game, it will work. Good luck.

I've got the same problem. I open clash it loads to 50% then quits and exits. Pissing me off. Needs to be fixed asap. I have the newest Android version a really good display and 4 gb of ram. hi everyone.. i have same problem like this.. and i found it to fix this problem stuck 50% error loading..
this is the fixed..
1. first you need to download Hotspot shield on google play store
2. connect the hostpot shield, wait green on.
3. and now open the clash royale. and done.

Clash Royale crashes back to the main menu after hitting 82% in the loading screen every time.
I live in Canada, downloaded straight from the google play store [version 1.1.2]. Using Bluestacks 2.
Also tried the apk of 1.1.1, but that's even worse as it doesn't even load at all, doesn't even show the supercell logo -- just flashes a black screen and crashes to main menu.
I've tried uninstalling, re-installing, clearing cache + data of Royale alone, Google Play Services alone, both etc etc. Always ends up crashing at 82%.
If anyone has this problem and discovers a fix, please reply or post below. Or if you just have suggestions, I'm all ears. Really looking forward to playing this game, hoping this problem gets fixed by global launch if not sooner...
