Ok... I hope this is in the right section.
Hey all, I'm new here, I've been playing since the release date. I wish I don't sound like an idiot, but this has been bothering me A LOT now, something about the story. I'll try to keep my cool... is anyone else as pissed off as I am because Clara was apparently killed? I mean come on, that... that was an unfair move by the writters, it made no sense at all, it just made the story worse, that was sad and needless. I don't quite know what to think, her fate literally ruined the whole game for me, everywhere I see and play this I keep thinking about it, it ruined my experience, I was totally disappointed with that, I love video games and I was really enjoying this one despite the bit of downgrade and playing on my old 360 because I still don't have a PS4, as soon as I get one I'll be buying Watch_Dogs because I really liked the game, but I won't be reaching this part of the story again though. Anyway, I wanted and I was expecting Aiden and Clara to end up together or something, and instead we got that... scene, I was actually enjoying the story until that f*cking point, everything literally goes to trash since Defalt exposed the truth and Clara was kept away from Aiden, the only time they talked about it was in a phone call just before entering the Merlaut to kill Quinn, she ends the call leaving Aiden in suspense, wasn't that enough proof that something was going on? She didn't answered Aiden's question. And even though while being inside Aiden can hear an audio log and read the emails about Clara being traced and the men were ready for orders he didn't do anything, not even called to warn her? Come on, I mean really? Why can't we save her right after reading that? Why didn't Aiden told Clara that he got his sister back as well? There was no point in doing her fate like that, Ubi, no point at all, Aiden was going after Quinn and Damien's asses anyway, we already had enough reasons to kill them. I wish, I really wish you're tricking us... I hope you're making us THINK that she's dead when she's not... please let that be the truth! I didn't expected to like and care about most of these characters so much, specially Aiden and Clara, they're my favorites, Jordi being third. It seemed that Aiden and Clara were starting to fall in love, I really ship that, yes, coming from a macho man, I've spent enough time in Tumblr, I'm sorry. If someone had to die, I would've prefered 10000+ times T-Bone or Jordi to be honest... anyone but Clara, that dramatic decision wasn't necessary, the story would've ended with a bit of happiness at least for Aiden and Clara, the ending is depressing enough already, she didn't deserved it, as she didn't knew that the Pearce job would have someone dead, in the audio log at the Bunker she asks if they're going to hurt them but she didn't got a clear response, and it ended up with a 6 year old girl getting killed, Clara felt guilty and kept leaving flowers on Lena's grave for over a year and decided to help Aiden find answers, and to heal herself too, as evidenced in the last audio log we heard about her, she cared about it as much as Aiden himself did. I didn't really cared about Nicky at some points to be honest, the game would've been fine if her kidnap would last shorter. I liked how Aiden and Clara's relation was getting slowly greater until the mission Someone's Knocking, they're a good team and Clara is a very well written character in my opinion, she grew on me a lot through the course of the game, I like how she looks, her cute French accent, how she acts and her dialogue with Aiden. I can easily relate to video game characters and when they're intereting, I'm interested, I smiled a lot in some cutscenes, I liked what was going on, not necessarily laughing, that's what Jordi's for (he was great). However... I got spoiled about her possible fate in YouTube comments earlier... then I looked at the wikia just for curiosity, and... F*CK! I didn't wanted to keep reading, but then I was kinda ready for it, wishing it wasn't true at all or at least be optional, but I still cried after it happened, despite Aiden being almost emotionless, I felt very sad, the game lost one of its magic elements there, it felt dull after that. Was it to create more drama? The tragic hero? Unnecessary bullsh*t if you ask me. I read somewhere about "multiple endings" before finishing the game, there's only two (well, not really, more like two decisions before credits) and I thought one of them would allow you to save her, I was wrong...

This just makes me so unconfortable, nervous and angry, I can't help but feel upset, I was over a week feeling like that, as soon as I finished it I started feeling mad about that again because there wasn't any hints about her survival at the ending, the ending wasn't very happy either, Aiden gained nothing and lost almost everything important, I know it's just a video game but come on... I don't think I'll be calm until I know she's alive. In the beginning of my post I said "apparently" because it's not clear enough... thank God, it's not very clear, the first bullet went into her left arm, and the second went into her right arm, at first I thought it went through the neck and I was glad it didn't, but there's still a lot of blood around her, Aiden's reaction was akward but I think I saw her taking a breath, I don't know, I hope it's a sign, I want to think that, I want her to be alive. For God's sake, you're just wasting great character potential in there, she could've appeared at the end in the lighthouse to save Aiden instead of Jordi "betraying" Aiden (only business...), but it didn't happen, she was only mentioned a couple of times in the mission. I've been reading theories about Aiden knowing she's alive and he hides the truth from T-Bone and Damien to keep her safe, I want to believe that too, I wish it was true, I really do, I mean someone could've seen her and called an ambulance, or DedSec rescued her... Please, let her be alive in the sequel! Or a DLC taking place after the main story where she appears alive, it would be so awesome as well to have a DLC where she's the protagonist, playing as Clara... it would be great since she has the same ctOS access as Aiden in her phone, meaning she can hack and do the same things... I would jump in massive happiness like a freaking 4 year old kid, really. Please consider doing something, Clara was a great character, don't waste her like that, make her be alive, or stop hiding us the truth if she is indeed alive! PLEASE. PLEASEEEEE, UBI.
Come on, please think about it... I've seen some things in Tumblr that increased my positive opinon of the game, a lot of the WD blogs I follow ship Claiden (Aiden & Clara), I've seen some fanfictions too, and surely a lot of us want her to be alive, that's all I'm asking for here, don't waste good potential :(
I hope there are other players/fans thinking about this like me. Clara's apparent fate was the only thing that really bothered and disappointed me about Watch_Dogs, I can deal with the rest of stuff.
I'm looking forward to your next Watch_Dogs related projects as well.
