@Chocolatedonutdog thanks again for the assist, got it working, was hopeing to avoid setting it to PvP, but luckily its only 1 big tribe on server.

Super Structures mod (descended from the unsupported S+ mod) has a Euthanasia Gun. Aim, right click dino to mark it for death, left click kills it.

If you still have the old PC you can move the singleplayer data on a USB, and then put it in the save file on your new pc

I sadly dont have an answer to your problem, but just so you know you can remove the tether distance in the options if you dont want it.
