I was having similar problems, no amount of port forwarding helped. I had to enable Raw Sockets for people to finally be able to join.

I would recommend you just join a PVE server. you won't get friendliness on a pvp server. in my experience if you want to do well on a pvp server you need a tribe of active players.

If battleye is bugged.... uninstalling it will not fully remove it.You need to manualy delete its folders fromArk in shootergame/binaries/win64/And c:/Programfiles(x86)/CommonFiles/
