Certainly does work hanging under an Argy or Ptera, that's how I always do it. You don't even have to jump off mid air, just shoot a grapple in it's chest and tell it to attack target, it'll take off ..

Im not sure tbh, but sounds like its as broken as the tapa tactic.Also scorpion tactic was never great, and to my knowledge only worked on lower level quetz.

I kept getting the device lost error too. I discovered that disabling the G-sync/freesync compatible has completely fixed the issue (seem to only get this problem with ARK).
