I am not 100% sure, but I think focusing on only wiping the species you are looking for actually has the potential to hurt your hunt for better specimens. If you are looking for species "A" ..

You can transfer your ascended character back to The Island after he gets uploaded if that's what you mean, you don't have to leave.. but a new character will of course have his own new implant.

It's survivor specific. You would have to redo the bosses on any new character you make no matter if you have on others and that character still exists.

If you can change the time on the server you can just forward it 24 hours. This will reset the Mindwipe time. However, once you change the time back, it will need to be 24 hours from the server time y..

Once a timer starts it has to complete before the new settings take affect. Future ones should be ok.
