At least he found it... That's a start. One thing I do is forward both udp and tcp for both ports. Try that.

Did your son try adding it with the ip and port or just the ip? If he tried the ip and port, try it with just the ip and let Steam find the port on it's own.Also, did you open up your firewall?

I used the TCP 27015 and UDP 7777. I forwarded them to the local IP of the server.

With only s+ .. a stack mod.. and raised harvest/weight rate....1 quetz and 1 anky... 2 pple in our tribe had over 1million metal ingots in less then 5 sessions/days of gameplay.Plenty of options.

I also play singleplayer and use offical small tribes rates with a mod called auto farm mod so may ankylo perma atacks without being ridden and I can fly him around and farm metal

Single player you can increase the gather rate, you can decrease the recipe costs, you can do whatever you want. All without mods.

you knock out heirs. You can also knock out other crystal wyverns but get fewer crystal. The amount you get scales by level.

Mods? Unsubscribe from all mod and then re-download them on your client. If one is stuck not updated it might cause this.

I did try that yes. I haven't had an issue until Crystal Isles update.My external IP 67.xxx.xxx.xx is what I was using to connect. I have also tried my internal 10.x.x.xx which does not work.
