Honestly, after all the questionable, and frankly unethical, things Epic has done, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they started trying to sneak in code on our machines that did sh!t like this.

i host a dedicated server. even with no one using the epic version of ARK neither me or my dad can connect. anybody not on our local network can connect to the server though
