If you're attempting to rent a server and try to use your steam account to play on xbox servers then no. Steam cannot cross play with any other platform ark wise.

I don't think there is a corrupted creature specific setting.. you would need to change the DinoTurretDamageMultiplier which would affect all creatures

You may be experience damage from sunlight exposure and/or the insane heat/cold that fluctuates within the biome.
