default game size is just over 100gb.. with all dlc over 200gb. you will need approx 50% more than the game size available for installation and updates

just hit an lvl 21 one with 1 trenq and it finally survived with 66 out of 210 hpi hit the feet with shortest pull that lets you shoot

Tranq arrow have the tame torpor effect on all parts of body... either way its 60 in the head,body,leg... best is to get a scorpian and sting it and put up melee damage as it increases its torpor outp..

I shot with tranq arrows at some flyers. Everytime insta death. Doesnt matter what lvl. :( Looks like a scorpion is the only tool where you have the guarantee you not kill them instantly.

well i just killed a lvl 9 and 11 with 1 trenq each... and i didnt pull back at allfollowing them seems to be impossible they just speed away..i have to admit, server is smooth and no rubberbanding or..

Shoot your tranq arrow before the animation pulls it all the way back. The narcotic always has the same effect, but the arrow's damage is lower. Also try not to hit the head (triple damage there)Lastl..

Go for the higher level ones. Takes a bit of searching around, but you shouldn't have any problem with one at lvl 9 or over - at least thats what worked for us.

Don't tranq to the head...or tranq a high level one in the head (we did that to a level 24. Only took 1 to the head)

you can't slingshot them you need tranq arrows if they are low level one tranq arrow can get them

Attacked Ptero will eventually land and get calm. Torpor from your first arrows will remain on the beast for some time, so you can sting 1-2 more into the beast that surely will knock it down.
