I've been downloading this update for an hour now, and its stuck at 5.9 gb out of 5.9 gb. I have EVERYTHING closed except steam, and it still wont do anything. Its been stuck here for roughly 30 minut..

So this is how my Ark downloads go down. If update is around 800 MB it takes 45 mins or more. If its like this update right now 5.9 GB 15 mins. SMH

the Writting on your hard drive/SSD needs to catch up with where you are at the download. Mostly happens with heavily compressed downloads like ARK (200gb compressed down to 49)

If you can... Ditch singleplayer & non-dedicated and use a proper dedicated server. I've never seen a fix for the issue you have, only mitigations.
