Doubled checked as well and can confirm HDR is not available on PC, even with ini editing.Have thus updated the wiki page so it doesn't show up in the list of HDR supported games and mislead people.

You can replace ants with another dino type though configuration. Or you can deactivate them altogether. Take a look at the stickies in the hosting section of the ark forums for details.
