Upgrading and/or rerolling insigs and medallions

Sometimes when prestiging or levelling I find some awesome rolls on gear, that I can't use for long because my 60 gear is better overall even though the rolls are worse. (Hopefully that made sense). I know that uniques can be upgraded to 60 and artifacts can be rerolled, but with the crafting rework coming up can we also have a way to:

Upgrade insigs to level 60
Upgrade from green to blue (not a big deal) and/or blue to purple (MASSIVE deal for me, I've had a +1 all powers rare insig in my inventory forever) insigs
Upgrade medallion to 60
Upgrade epic medallion to cosmic
Reroll medallion
Reroll insig's secondary affixes (IE, if I loot an insig with health and melee dmg with terrible roll values and I reroll, change the roll values but leave it as health and melee dmg)

Also can we have any details and/or spoilers on the crafting rework pls? (Figured I'd ask while I'm here, and hopefully you guys will say some of ^ ideas are already planned)
