So I've been playing Path of Exile a little bit and I have to say I'm really impressed with their flask items.

For those who haven't played it, there are 5 flask slots, corresponding to the 1-5 keys. There are 3 primary types of flasks: Life, Mana, and Hybrid (which restore both life and mana,) which come in different sizes as you level up, plus some other types that do things like increase move speed, provide damage resistance, etc.

All flasks have a maximum number of charges held (based on size which ranges from Small up to Eternal) and consume 1/3 of them on use; defeating a mob refills 1 charge. The larger the flask, the more effective it is when used; for instance, a small life flask restores 60 life over 6 seconds while an eternal life flask restores 2,080 life over 4 seconds

Flasks can come in magic quality (corresponds to green and blue rarity in Marvel Heroes) with 1-2 random affixes each. Some of the affixes are really cool. For instance, a Surgeon's flask gains 1 charge whenever you land a critical hit, a Panicked life flask restores 25% less life but provides instant healing when below 35% life, a flask of Craving gives you 2 mana on hit while its effects are active.

This is a really awesome concept, which means that Marvel Heroes MUST steal it post-haste.

Thus: The Pym Medkit Infuser, available from any crafter for 1,000 credits. Minimum level 60, and the base effect is to heal 1,000 health immediately and 6% per second for 5 seconds (base medkits heal only 100 health immediately and 6% for 5s.)

This would be an item that slots into the equipment sheet (I suggest putting it at the bottom with the costume, insignia, and pet) and can consume medkits just like a pet consumes gear (you can do this automatically through settings or manually by dragging as with pets.) Each consumed medkit gives the Infuser 1 charge. You can drag it to a hotbar slot or set your dedicated medkit key to use it instead of medkit stacks.

Medkit Infusers can have up to 3 affixes, which are unlocked by donating medallions, rings, and insignias of any rarity (higher rarities contribute more progress toward unlocking an affix.)

Each Infuser affix is activated on using the Infuser.

Some ideas for affixes:

Affix 1 (replaces default effects):

• 500 health restored immediately, 12% health restored per second for 5s
• 1500 health restored immediately, 3% health restored per second for 5s
• 100 health restored immediately, 10% damage negation for 5s
• 100 health and 100 spirit restored immediately, restore 2% health per second and restore 2 spirit on hit for 5s
• Usable when CC'd, immediately removes CC effects; also gives default effects

Affix 2 (offensive):

• +1% critical hit chance for 3s
• +2% brutal strike chance for 3s
• +4% critical hit and brutal strike damage for 3s
• +6% base damage for 3s

Affix 3 (aura):

• You, your teammates, and summoned allies gain 3% area damage negation for 2s, plus 1% additional area damage negation for each ally nearby
• You, your teammates, and summoned allies deal 4% additional base damage for 2s, plus 1% additional base damage for each ally nearby
